Alrighty, this blog is going to be seriously dissin' on Nicolas Cage, so just go ahead turn your head and walk away if you're a fan. The rest of privileged enough to have a brain, here you go...
I'm gonna trash all of his movies here, but my personal favorite fail of his is Next. A movie where he can see everything two minutes before it happens, except (oh brother) when he's next to the girl of his dreams.
So the whole movie is just him trying to save after she gets kidnapped by the bad guys as a way to get him to do what they want. So towards the end he finally saves her, oh, but wait, a bomb goes off. I was just like "Heck yeah! Nic is dead!" Turns out, all 2 hours and 5 minutes of the film NEVER HAPPENED. He just saw the future cause he was next to the stupid girl. Great story right? You get see a bunch of stuff that's never going to happen to this guy and then the movie ends and there was absolutely no story to it at all. Yea!
Now I would hate to deprive to let you go without hearing about the rest of his garbage. So here it goes.
I think I'm actually going to show you, lets see, how many of his movies have been rated 4 out of 10 or less on my favorite website: Rotten Tomatoes. The answer is a whopping 19.

Okay, for you Cage fans that ignored my warning I know you'll be like there are just as many good films as bad in his career. Oh yeah? Okay, well first lets point out that half of those he wasn't starring in and didn't have a big enough role to damage the movie, and then a fourth of 'em were when he was young and didn't even know how much money he was making.
Long story short. I will never see any of his movies again.
