I feel it is my duty as a movie blogger to blog on the golden globes.
Many awards were handed out, and many were presented by some interesting people. Why they had Justin Bieber at a party serving alchohol, or even at a golden globes at all actually, beats me.
A topic that brought up a lot of discussion was the fact that The Social Network was presented with an extremely large amount of trophies. Now I'm not going to say that Inception should have won; I haven't seen The Social Network so it's not my place. But the fact that Nolan didn't get credit for his job directing blew me away.
What also blew me away was the fact that only Nolan and his wife were there to represent for the Incepetion crew. Nobody from the cast was there.
Oh well, props to The Social Network gang for, apparently, a job well done. I know a couple that I talk to via skype somewhat often and chat about movies. The Social Network did come up, but there was much less talk on that than almost any movie I've seen in the past six months, so I deprived myself of watching it. I guess I missed out.
Nevertheless, I plan on watching it/blogging on it, and am very excited to see if the rewards were well deserved, after all, not your typical movie gets the award for Best Film.
